Fine
quality woollen, silver, and gold headdress knotted cords for shakos,
and bearskin caps. We custom-make numerous styles not displayed.
There are minimum quantities for custom runs.

Bearskin
Cap Cords 1768-1800
These
woollen cords were used around the rear patch of the british bearskin
cap until the end of the American Revolution.
After that the
cord became drooped over the front of the bearskin.

Shako Cords 1812-1815
Based on
originals these cords were used on the British 1812 pattern shako also
known as the Waterloo shako.

French Shako

Shako Cords 1805-1815
These woollen cords
were used around the rear patch of the british bearskin cap until the
end of the American Revolution.
After that the cord became
drooped over the front of the bearskin. 1768-1800
French Shako woollen cords in
white, yellow or red are offered here for 29 US (44 CAN) each
(MIS-036).
French gold and silver (mylar) shako cords also
available along with Gold/red mixed cords for sergeants -each for
45 US (68 CAN) (MIS-045)
